Percussion Therapy

VP-3 PERCUSSOR will generate an advanced vibrational percussive force that goes deeply into the soft tissue to release restrictions. Fascial restrictions underlie many persistent subluxations, fixations, chronic pain syndromes and scar tissue.

The smooth force of this percussive action allows one to free both superficial connective tissue and deep fascia. The percussor can also be used for neurotherapy or scar tissue release. It stimulates fascia to relax muscle, decrease pain, enhance mobility and stimulate lymphatic drainage.

The VP-3 PERCUSSOR allows the practitioner to work with the fascia of the body at a very deep, penetrating level that has long-lasting dimensions. It also creates a strong, smooth force to stimulate the release of the fascia through biomechanical and bioelectrical unwinding. This kind of release allows the fluids and electrical properties of tissues and organs to flow normally again, creating motion and life, restoring healthy equilibrium.

Fascia is the connective tissue that surrounds and invests nearly every aspect of our bodies tissues. Restrictions in the fascia can both result in pain and more work for our bodies.

The fascia and the bones of the body have electrical properties that let them carry electrical current. Fascia covers every muscle, organ and system in the body. Fascial connective tissue is continuous and all-inclusive. Fascia carries an electrical charge and is in constant communication with the nervous system throughout the entire body.

Percussor Technique

The percussor is intended for treatment of the symptoms associated with pain. .

The percussor is to be used in the following general indications:
